Best Blades for Tenergy 05

Butterfly Tenergy 05 is excellent for looping and suits offensive players who are positioned close-to-mid distance from the table. It’s a fast rubber, but not the fastest on the market.

Since Tenergy 05 makes the ball dwell for a long time on the paddle in order to generate more spin, pairing it with a soft and flexible blade will make the spin incredible, but also means that you won’t get much power. Hence, many players like to pair Tenergy 05 with a harder or stiffer blade to speed it up.

That’s why Tenergy 05 works well with 7-ply carbon and wood blades (5+2 ply). I’d be wary of using something very soft and flexible like a 5-ply all-wood blade as this will make the rubber too spin-orientated at the expense of other characteristics.

Tenergy 25 is a good counter-attacking rubber but it can be a little bit harder to control compared to most other rubbers in the Tenergy line-up.
